Look One: From the Romance was Born – MBFWA Resort ’19 ‘Opal Goddess” Show
“Working with Romance Was Born was (much like the collection) a dream for Xydis. Anna and Luke’s creativity and openness towards design allowed her to be experimental with the hair styling. Renya channeled ‘goddesses’ across multiple looks, using a spectrum of EIMI styling products and of course, glitter. All of the glitter. Renya will show you how to create this magical look step by step, what’s involved when working with designers and backstage and how to get a team to re create your vision under time contraints ” Renya Xydis, Creative Director
Look Two: From The Zimmermann Fall ’19 Show NYCFW, Renya Xydis Creative Director
“The show, named EYE SPY was a covert mix of sexy, provocative meet’s French-girl spy. She is mysterious, beautiful and modestly professional, like a spy. We emanated this in the hair style by creating a vintage-style side parting and a modernised take on the classic ‘finger wave’. The Zimmerman girl oozes effortless glamour. Where finger waves are classically tight and slick, we added texture and movement here to speak Zimmermann’s trademark of effortless glamour. Renya will show this classic skill set step by step; a skill set she finds a lot of hairdressers struggle with. Renya’s version has a modern feel and look”
