@laurencoophair is the co-owner & Creative Director of @etchersalon, the 2022 @aushairfashionawards Creative Colourist of the Year and 2021 AHFA SA/TAS Hairdresser 🏆 She has been hairdressing for 16 years and spends her days working on the salon floor servicing clients, supporting a growing team of Etcher stylists, and travelling both nationally and internationally as part of the @evohair education team. All whilst being a dog mum of 2 chaotic French Bulldogs 🐶, a massive foodie, lover of indie music, self-appointed queen of the D-floor 💃🏼and partner to Etcher Salon Co-Owner Matthew 💕

Lauren and team Etcher are here to share some smart time-saving creative colour techniques, to help you gain knowledge and understanding of how to create incredible colour work with maximum impact that can be easily replicated during a busy day on the salon floor! 💪💪💪

We will be taking you through a reverse balayage look, taking a model from blonde to a dimensional lived-in brunette with a simple and fool proof sectioning pattern and application. With a second model that will be a creative toning technique that will show you how to utilize different parts of your colour portfolio to your advantage.

“I’m Kaine Vakai, owner and director of Kaine Vakai Hair Artistry in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.
I have lived and taken every breath in the hair industry since the age of 14. I come from a line of hairdressers within the Vakai family starting from my Nan then Aunty and mum. I have owned and operated my salon for over 4 years now, hosting 17 chairs and a staff of 12 super supportive and passionate hair specialists.
I have been blessed to work with so many talented industry professionals, down and dirty in fashion week & campaign shoots for brands like P.E. nation. I am very proudly an ambassador for Redken, Natalie Anne Haircare & Hair Candy Australia.
My passion within the industry lies in all things colour and social media. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of colour and the way in which I colour as I feel the future of colour is visual placement. I look forward to taking you through the journey of transforming a client into a high impact blonde balayage offering time saving techniques that won’t compromise condition or results! I will be tapping into the importance of social media and my go to ways of capturing content even on those who might be a little camera shy.

Anything can happen during a live stream video and that’s half the fun… 😅🥴😜

During yesterdays class we experienced a black out 😱
NO lights ❌ NO power ❌ BUT THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!

@josiemorganeducation is an absolute champion and the second half of the class was able to go ahead 🙏💕

We continued to film at the salon window in a 2m x 2m space (all SIX of us crammed in!) utilising the natural light 🌞 thank goodness the rain cleared just in time 🌞 Josie adapted her second style and created this look without the use of hot tools 💫
