Kaine Vakai is the owner and director of Kaine Vakai Hair Artistry in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire. He has lived and taken every breath in the hair industry since the age of 14. He comes from a line of hairdressers within the Vakai family starting from his Nan then Aunty and Mum. He has owned and operated the salon for over 4 years now, hosting 17 chairs and a staff of 12 super supportive and passionate hair specialists.

Kaine considers himself blessed to work with so many talented industry professionals, down and dirty in fashion week & campaign shoots for brands like P.E. nation. He is the proud ambassador for Redken, Natalie Anne Haircare & Hair Candy Australia.

His passion within the industry lies in all things colour and social media. He enjoys pushing the boundaries of colour and the way in which he colours as he feels the future of colour is visual placement. He is looking forward to taking you through the journey of transforming a client into a high impact blonde balayage offering time saving techniques that won’t compromise condition or results! He will be tapping into the importance of social media and will share his go to ways of capturing content even on those who might be a little camera shy.

In early 2022 Kaine found his passion for education and since then has conducted dozens of classes around the country and soon overseas! We’re so excited to have him be a part of The Secret Fox Education family now as well!
